Eminem is a legend when it comes to performances at the VMAs and he always knows how to put on a show. Relive some of his greatest moments from the MTV award show below.

Which performance do you think was the best?

#5 – Without Me – 2002

Eminem was back on the scene with a vengeance and he wanted to get people talking. In true Eminem style he did just that. This is one of his most scaled back performances at the VMAs but still a memorable one.

#4 – My Name Is/Guilty Conscious/Nuthin But A G Thang – 1999

Eminem was ushered into the VMAs by Dr. Dre himself with a special appearance from Snoop Dogg. Em stepped up to the plate for his first VMA performance and knocked it out of the park with this one.

#3 – Not Afraid/Love The Way You Lie – 2010

After going through a few tough years, Eminem made a huge comeback with his album “Recovery” and he wanted to let the world know that Eminem meant business. This is definitely one of his most emotional and powerful performances to date and having Rihanna as his special guest only made it that much more memorable.

#2 – White America/Cleanin Out My Closet – 2002

MTV just couldn’t get enough of Eminem this year and he definitely raised the bar as far as live performances go. Eminem managed to create a spectacle that would be talked about for years to come, just think about it, we’re talking about it right now.

#1 – The Real Slim Shady/The Way I Am – 2000

This was Eminem’s big moment at the VMAs and it was an epic performance to boot. Eminem marched an army of Slim Shady wannabes through the streets of New York and then tore the house down when he got inside. On this night, Eminem stole the show.
